INSPIRATION

A piece designed to accent tables and walls. A rectangular manta textile is displayed inside a certified pine wood frame; mounted on it are raw cotton hairs using our Reclaimed technique, which demonstrate the skill and craftsmanship of the fretwork cutout technique; a representation of the pictographic writing of the ancient Mixtec and Zapotec cultures that inhabited the Oaxaca Valley for centuries.

Repurposed Technique

We recover, sort, and store the leftover cotton yarn used in the production of our Large Format pieces for eventual reuse. We transform raw materials that would otherwise be discarded under "normal" production conditions, giving them a chance to become decorative pieces destined to grace our interior spaces.
