A rectangular manta textile is displayed inside a certified pine wood frame; mounted on it are raw cotton hairs using our Reclaimed technique, which demonstrate the skill and craftsmanship of the fretwork cutout technique; a representation of the pictographic writing of the ancient Mixtec and Zapotec cultures that inhabited the Oaxaca Valley for centuries.
