INSPIRATION
Our technique of Recovered applied to mirror frames. The Eye of Water represents the expansion of water waves on the surface after an object falls vertically, disturbing its calm and tranquility; an effect magnified by the crystalline center of the mirror. A face mirror made on a wooden base that supports the glass and is covered with a blanket; strands of reclaimed cotton thread are sewn and assembled onto it as a frame.

Ojo de Agua
Repurposed Technique
We recover, sort, and store the leftover cotton yarn used in the production of our Large Format pieces for eventual reuse. We transform raw materials that would otherwise be discarded under "normal" production conditions, giving them a chance to become decorative pieces destined to grace our interior spaces.
