Rosario

Rosario is a contemporary homage to memory, devotion and the tradition of Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). Crafted from a rhythmic sequence of papier-mâché spheres wrapped in dyed cotton yarn, its rich terracotta tone echoes the vibrant color of cempasúchil flowers and the warm hues of mexican clay. The piece reinterprets the traditional rosary as a symbol of connection between the earthly world and the spiritual realm. Its fluid, cascading form is finished with a strand of 100% raw cotton, adding an organic touch and a subtle handcrafted texture.
