INSPIRATION

This piece combines the handcrafted patterns of Saturn and the Codex, but takes them a step further, towards the unfathomable depths of the infinite universe; rows of raw cotton in numerical sequences made of tassels and short ties with thread dyed in multiple shades of blue, with long and short strands in free fall; all attached to a black-finished wooden hoop. A spectacular hanging decorative accent that reminds us how small we are compared to the vast and enormous universe, but how significant we can become, thanks to the imprint of transcendence left when creating a textile craft piece like our Cosmos.
