INSPIRATION
Inspired by the archaeological zone of Palenque (in Mayan: Bàak' , also known as Lakam Há), located in the rainforest heart in the Palenque city, this piece translates its architecture into a textile language. Through straight cuts and blocks of color, it represents the steps and windows characteristic of its temples. The chosen tones evoke the jungle environment, full of life, flora, and fauna, that frames this ancestral site.
