CARALARGA
Caralarga is a textile design and production workshop inspired by the raw materials of nature. We seek to preserve their essence and highlight their qualities, transforming them into pieces of high artisanal value. With our designs, we want to convey the value of our hands and highlight the natural beauty of each material. We like things as they are and believe that a simple world is better; this is our source of inspiration.
ORIGIN
In 2014, Ana Holschneider and Socorro Gasca found in cotton threads and textile waste the perfect material to create unique handcrafted jewelry pieces, taking advantage of weaving errors and giving new life to discarded materials.
WORKSHOP
Our workshop is located inside the former Hercules textile factory, a space steeped in history that has been a symbol of textile development in Querétaro since the 19th century, and which today allows us to keep that tradition alive through our processes and handcrafted pieces.
