Terms and Conditions (Custom Parts)

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Thank you for your interest in purchasing an original product manufactured by Diseño Caralarga SA de CV (hereinafter "Caralarga" or "We"). These general terms and conditions (hereinafter the "Conditions") govern the purchase and sale of products or services offered and marketed by Caralarga. For the sake of clarity, we will refer to you as the "Customer" or "You" from now on.

The Client declares that the data provided to us to contract our services and/or purchase our products is real, truthful, accurate, lawful, and verifiable, and that he or she releases Caralarga from any liability arising from the truthfulness, suitability, accuracy, legality, and verification of such data.

1.- Privacy Notice

2.- Quotes for custom parts

Caralarga will make the requested quote(s) according to the information provided by the Client .

The reprinting, republication, distribution, assignment, sale, electronic reproduction or exploitation by any means of any information, document or graphic provided to you, in whole or in part, for any use other than personal, non-commercial use is expressly prohibited.

Once the quote is accepted, a deposit will be requested as indicated in the quote. Once the deposit has been made, the terms and conditions described herein will be deemed accepted. The Client must also immediately send proof of payment by email to hola@caralarga.com .


3.- Production 

Upon receipt and confirmation of the advance payment by the Caralarga team, production will begin, and the Purchase Agreement will be issued, including the estimated date for the product to be manufactured and packaged at Caralarga's facilities. From this moment on, changes in design, quantity of parts, sizes, and any other modifications to the previously confirmed order will no longer be accepted.

Upon completion of production, one or more photos of the finished piece will be sent, and the corresponding settlement payment will be requested before shipping. The Client will have 15 days from the date of notification of production completion to make the settlement payment. The piece will be shipped once proof of payment is received. The Client must also immediately email proof of payment to hola@caralarga.com .

Any situation that may arise with the manufacturing of the handcrafted piece will be communicated to the Client in advance for their information and/or prior approval.


4.- Packaging

Packaging is custom-made for each piece in our workshop. Each package is made with quality materials by our packaging team, following quality standards designed to protect the piece during transport. The cost of packaging will be included in the quote.


5.- Shipments

Caralarga will ship the items to the address provided by the Customer. Therefore, the Customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information and references. If the information is not provided correctly, or if no one is present to receive the order, or if the Customer refuses to accept it, the transaction may be canceled, and the charges associated with the return and reshipment must be covered by the Customer.


Shipping and Delivery Policy :

If the Customer requests shipping, Caralarga will contract with an external service for domestic and international shipments. The shipping cost is provided by the shipping company, and Caralarga does not charge any commission or freight charges.

The freight cost will be included in the quote and is indicative only. It is subject to change by the carrier and must be accepted and paid by the Customer as part of the total cost of the order. In the event of a change in costs by the shipping company, the Customer will be required to cover the difference.

For orders going abroad, import taxes incurred in the destination country will be the customer's responsibility. The contracted courier service will be responsible for collecting any import taxes requested by customs for shipment release.

Shipping times:

Estimated delivery times are provided by the shipping company. Caralarga only communicates estimated times to the Customer. Customs clearance times in each country may vary and also depend on the information provided by the Customer.

Caralarga undertakes to track all shipments through the tracking number provided by the transport company and will support the Customer in everything they need until they receive the part.

Caralarga will inform the Customer of the tracking number provided by the courier company so they can track the delivery of their item.

Shipping will be carried out on business days and at times established by the shipping company. Caralarga is not responsible for any delays or problems that may be attributable to the shipping company.

Caralarga is not responsible for the Customer's receipt of the package. If the Customer does not receive the package, the costs associated with the return and reshipment must be covered by the Customer.


6.- Shelter

The Customer may postpone the shipping or pickup date of their item(s) up to a maximum of 15 calendar days after the deposit has been paid, without incurring any storage fees. After these 15 calendar days, the Customer is obligated to cover the charges incurred for storage of the finished and packaged item(s) as indicated in the following paragraph.

In the event that the Client does not make the settlement payment within 15 calendar days or requires a receipt greater than 15 calendar days after having been notified of the end of production, the Client is obligated to cover the charges of $5.00 (FIVE PESOS 00/100 MN, VAT INCLUDED) for each kg/m3 of volumetric weight per day of their finished and packaged piece(s) so that they can be released. The volumetric weight (kg/m 3 ) is calculated according to the following formula:

If the costs incurred are not covered and 120 calendar days have elapsed since being notified of the end of production, Caralarga will have the right to cancel the corresponding Order, without any right to a refund or change of date, and the advance payment and the manufactured part will be lost.


7.- Product Warranty and Customer Service Caralarga.


By factory default 

The production process of the Caralarga Large Format, Repurposed and Space Jewelry collections is carried out in the Caralarga SA de CV Design workshop, located in

Av. Hercules Oriente No. 1, Col. Hercules, CP 76069, Querétaro, QRO. Mexico.

Each piece is handcrafted and subject to high quality standards, therefore, it comes with a replacement guarantee for manufacturing defects.

This warranty becomes valid by notifying us within a maximum period of 20 days from the date of receipt of the product, and you must exercise it during that same period by emailing hola@carlarga.com


By default Packaging 

Each Caralarga product is packaged to quality standards, tested and controlled in our workshop before shipping. If this quality is not met, the Customer must send at least three photographs clearly demonstrating the defects in the packaging, and Caralarga will propose a solution to the Customer.

Due to the formation of fungus on pieces

Each piece purchased directly from Diseño Caralarga SA de CV comes with the following mold protection guarantee:

Six-month warranty from the date of receipt of the product, for the single replacement of the entire item within the Interior Design collections. This warranty includes the cost of packaging and shipping to its final destination within the Mexican Republic and will be valid subject to compliance with the following terms and conditions:

  1. The raw cotton fibers that make up Diseño Caralarga SA de CV's pieces require dry or semi-dry climates for their care, maintenance, and optimal lifespan. Humidity can cause mold growth, so it is essential that the space where the piece is placed has air conditioning and/or permanent ventilation.
  1. The packaging box must be opened immediately upon receipt to prevent mold and mildew from forming due to its confinement and lack of ventilation. If the item is left inside the packaging more than three days after receipt, the warranty offered by Diseño Caralarga SA de CV will be void.
  1. To validate this warranty, Diseño Caralarga SA de CV requires a photograph of the part installed within five days of receipt. As proof, the photo must be sent to hola@caralarga.com .

8.– Billing

When confirming a quote and making payment for an order, the Customer has until the end of the month in which the purchase was made to request an invoice, providing the corresponding information to the email address: factura@caralarga.com or through the self-invoice service found on the Caralarga website.

Finally, the Client declares that he or she has read, is aware of, and is aware of the provisions of this document, giving his or her express consent and accepting the Terms and Conditions transcribed herein.
