GARLANDS
Natural garlands are a tradition that has been preserved by generations in different towns in Mexico to decorate streets and temples during patron saint festivals. These garlands are handmade using the yujas (needles) of the ocote or Moctezuma pine and intertwined with mecate (twine) in a spiral shape. This technique has been the inspiration for these new models, in which we have experimented with cotton scraps recovered from the workshop's production to create the texture of the traditional garlands.
