Candil Códice - Chico

This piece represents another organic evolution of our work, as it recovers the design of one of our Large Formats, adapting it to the diameter to create one of the first luminaires. The Codex pattern is made with rows of raw cotton attached to a metal structure; it involves the use of tassels and short ties of dyed thread as a handcrafted technique, following a numerical sequence of 2, 3, 4, which causes the ends, like trimmed locks of hair, to repeat the same sequential pattern, giving the viewer the sensation of being faced with a true fragment of encrypted language.
