Chichen itzá
Inspired by the archaeological site of the same name, this piece abstracts the descending silhouette of Kukulkan, "the Feathered Serpent".
Thanks to their vast astronomical knowledge, the Mayans managed to erect a pyramid in which, every March 21st, the sun aligns
with its stone structure, creating the optical illusion of a snake descending the staircase.
