INSPIRATION
Inspired by the archaeological zone of Palenque (in Mayan:Bàak', also known asLakam HaLocated in the heart of the rainforest in the municipality of Palenque, this piece translates the architecture of the site into a textile language. Through straight cuts and blocks of color, it represents the characteristic steps and windows of its temples. The chosen tones evoke the jungle environment, full of life, flora, and fauna, that frames this ancestral site.

Recovered Technique
We recover, sort, and store the leftover cotton yarn used in the production of our Large Format pieces for eventual reuse. We transform raw materials that would otherwise be discarded under "normal" production conditions, giving them a chance to become decorative pieces destined to grace our interior spaces.
