INSPIRATION
This piece was inspired by the photograph of the same title taken by the renowned Mexican photographer Santiago Arau. In it, the three mountain ranges that run through Mexico from north to south—the Sierra Madre Oriental, Occidental, and del Sur—serve as a reference for the cut of the assembled horsehair strands, thus creating a unique reinterpretation of the natural landscapes of our country, in a play of reliefs and depth enhanced by the overlapping of the terracotta horsehair strands on the frame.

Recovered Technique
We recover, sort, and store the leftover cotton yarn used in the production of our Large Format pieces for eventual reuse. We transform raw materials that would otherwise be discarded under "normal" production conditions, giving them a chance to become decorative pieces destined to grace our interior spaces.
