INSPIRATION
We've added a new design to our Caralarga Mini collection: Tonatiuh, a piece inspired by the symbolic figure of the Toltec deity of the Sun of Movement, whose name in Nahuatl means "the one who warms or illuminates." The cotton loom is symmetrically divided into quadrants by a cross, where the representation of Tonatiuh is found. From its center, four diagonal rays of light, made with tassels and ties, extend to either side, evoking the path the sun travels across the sky from east to west. The lower part of the "canvas" ends in a series of clipped tufts of varying lengths.

BARRELING TECHNIQUE
With a focus on highlighting the beauty of simplicity. These models play with the color, thickness, and movement of the cotton thread to create beautiful contrasts between the cotton spaces and the ties.
